MCreator freezes when workspace setup goes to "Setting up Gradle project"

Hello, MCreator always freezes when the workspace setup gets to "Setting up Gradle project".

I have the minimum requirements for MCreator (Windows 10, 4 GB, 4 cores), but it freezes at that stage. How do i fix this?
