MCreator with MCreator link enabled crashes with this message:

I found I could solve this problem by downloading the latest dev version of MCreator Link and swapping it out with the mcreator_link.jar in /lib (of my mod folder).
You will probably need to rebuild the caches
I'm still having this problem in april 2022. rebuilding the cache and even reinstalling from scratch has not fixed this issue.
This problem was fixed in a recent patch!
