I'm trying to make it so a type of leaves, called Grape Leaves, will spawn in place of other leaves! I came up with a procedure to make it work, will it?

I see no reason that shouldn't work.
If you're trying to replace a block with a different block. Just make it an ore in mcreator what height. Then have it only replace that block w/ new block.
Make the top ore placement 64
Make the bottom one 10.
Lock the element. Replace the 64 amt with 16xthe hieght level you have set. I:e level 120 by 130 would be 10. So 16 times 10 = 160.

Also, I tested it. It doesn't work! Does anyone know why it doesn't so I can fix it?
It will spawn only in the upper right section of minecraft's map in a diagonal line from (0, 0,0) to (200, 200, 200) so maybe a bit more variation could be used so it spawns in more places
