I first time ever made armor that uses 3D model. Model works but there is some kind of weird cube arround my head. Its helmet only armor so. Its just head. Any idea what it causes?
Also rest of model is perfectly rendered but its overlapped by the cube. Saw it when I tryed to camera glitch look inside
So. For now I made replacement. I used chestplate instead off helmet. It works and it looks a lot better than on helmet, but still. I would like to know what caused it. If I will ever have to make 3D helmet in future
I'm having this exact issue, did you ever figure out how to fix it?
with armor there in all cases there is an overlap of some pre present 2d armor that would appear on any non 3d set, for some reason it still appears and will display any textures that are in its zone, this image shows what to avoid in red and what is ok to put texture in.
JUST REMEMBER, Helmets the top half should be avoided, for Leggings and boots avoid the bottom half, its the opposite of the helmet, for the chestplate it dosnt matter. This rule always applies and it dosnt matter the size of the texture .png just as long as you avoid the corrasponding half for helmets use bottom half, for leggings use the top half and that should avoid any issue. Best of luck to you

the texture example is not exact but the idea its just to show which halves can be used, and exact half would work too I believe
That fixed it for me, thank you so much!
