Help with vampire mod! (Please help me..)

I was making a vampire mod. But i noticed... The blood sucking script doesnt work. This is the script i made.

/execute at @e[nbt={HurtTime:10s}] run particle minecraft:block minecraft:redstone_block ~ ~1.5 ~ 0 0 0 0 20 force

Please help me. It is really important for my mod. I also tried it with permanent particles, But it doesn't work. Someone help me!

All help appreciated.

• The mod will have a really small ammount of alcohol and blood.
• The vampire's thirst for blood will be downed by 2 bits by drinking wine.
• If the vampire drinks blood, It's thirst will be downed fully.
• If someone is bleeding out, They will fall down out of nowhere and can only be healed with bandages, Or a vampire tooth.
