Spells galore

Hello, I am Sockfire and I am making a giant wizarding mod, and I need ideas for spells. If I like the idea, I will try and make it, give you credit, then send you a video of me using the item. I need spells of all elements, wizarding weapons, and relic ideas. (You don't have to show me how to make the item)

How about special enchanted papers you find in structures, each one contain a spell.

You also can add those spell paper into a normal book which would make the book into a spell book.

Right clicking while sneaking will open the book to allow you to switch between the spells in the book.

Right clicking without sneaking will use the currently selected spell e,g, Force Field, wormhole, fireball, or summon a spirit (Like jjba stands or something)

 

Whenever you use a spell, a certain amount of customly added "mana" is consumed. This Mana will slowly regenerate overtime, but you could have potions that will give you more mana.

You could also add a rare item that will increase the maximum mana you can have.

 

Hopefully you're able to make such system. :)

Some small idea's:

Fire spell: spell that gives you a buff. When you walk on lava it turns into a solid block with a timer. After some time that block turns back into lava. (Lava walking)

Ice spell: spell that gives you a buff. When you walk on water it turns into a special kind of ice block with a timer. After some time that block turns back into water. (water walking)

Earth/ nature spell: shoots a grass ball. Where the grass ball drops it will give a 3/3 area a bone meal effect.

Earth spell: shoots an earth ball. Where the earth ball drops will spawn an 3 block long 3 block wide earth barrier.

Explosion spell: Explodes any area that is pointed towards, maybe.

Wither: Any entity with this spell cast will wither away with the wither effect, or another custom effect.

Fire spell ( you can shoot fireballs with it ). You can right click and it will shoot a fire ball (if you have the item in you hand) or if you have the item not in you main hand then you can press the [\] key on your keyboard and shoot a fireball

Necromancy spell: Summons undead minions to aid you, depending on balance you could make it cost health or give negative potion effects to the caster (if you need help implementing summons let me know, i have made working summons in the past)
