I want to know if it is still supported or if someone knows another mod maker for that version XD.
I wanted to backport pillagers to 1.7.10, because, you know most of the greatest mods where stuck in that version and forgotten...
I know my english sucks.
Nope. The devs confirmed they won’t add 1.7.10 support.
Although official 1.7 support won’t come we can code our own generator.
I don't know java
I have been coding it for a few days.
Please let me know when you had a beta or alpha 😃
Okay l just need to finish getting gradle to work
Can't wait to see your generator finished
That would be cool indeed, 1.12.2 and 1.17.10 seem be the two most recognised versions to backport.
thats realy bad news , i want to mode 1.7.10 , not want to go new version , all of my friends and server and mods are in 1.7.10
you can find Mcreator 1.7.3 and change "gradle-2.0-bin.zip" to "gradle-3.0-bin.zip" @ "forge\gradle\wrapper\gradle-wrapper.properties"
then most of mcreator get start to work but then get stuck in "1.7.10.jar" Download from server
i hope there be some one to give that file to me then i can be able to edit my mods for my server once more.
In all honesty, I would rather recommend learning Java and modding by yourself, as there's probably 0 chance MCreator will ever support 1.7.10 again, and community will rather add features to current generators than support old ones. Not to say so popular 1.12 generator got no updates from community, and one could expect at least minimal care about it, since it is the most popular deprecated version.
If you insist, you can find old MCreators on archive topic on the forum (it has most MCreator versions available), but old MCreators have generally really small amount of features & are really buggy. First really good MCR in terms of stability and features is 2020.2, but 2020.3/4 were the ones that were fully polished imo.
Hey has anyone here had any success with modding 1.7.10? I'm trying to make a mod for it but can't get gradle to work
