Java plugins won't activate

I'm making a mod for a collage project and have never done anything like it before so I'm figuring things out as I go but I've come across a problem I'm having stuck on. I was following the tutorial for getting animated modules to work using GeckoLibs and it says there should be a new GeckoLibs tab but I don't see it even though I have java plugins enabled. I'm using the 2022.3 version of MCreator and GeckoLibs v3.5.1

I'm having the same problem, I've activated every possible configuration and the GeckoLib tab doesn't appear in mcreator

I think OP is having the same problem as me. We have "Enable Java plugins" in that tab checked off (or at least I do) so I don't know what else to do.

I found the solution, you installed it wrong you need to go to the Mcreator plugins folder then put the plugin there instead of just putting it into the Mcreator folder.
