The pre-release of the first update of the year, MCreator 2024.1, is here! This update stands out of the crowd with the NeoForge support, UI refresh, debugger, and much more. Check it out!

UI refresh?

It has been a while since the last UI refresh of MCreator, so it was about time to make one. With 2024.1, we are introducing a new look and feel to our Minecraft mod maker, which is now flatter, more modern, accessible, and performant.

Snapshot release notes

  • MCreator now uses FlatLaf for its look and feel. Themes can now specify all properties of the FlatLaf such as border style, font sizes, component spacing, and more. Themes can also import IntelliJ-based JSON themes.
  • [Plugins] Generators can now exclude specific folders from an imported generator

hi. If you move the workspace from version 2023.3 to this one, will it break?

Will it be possible to create your own armor templates, and will it be possible to apply templates to armor from the mod

Nice Update, but i had a Problem when i was making a Ghost with a new Dimension where he should spawn in but the ghost didnt appear like an egg and didnt appear in the dimension. Why is that so? The ghost didnt got added to MC.

I recommend opening a bug report on our issue tracker as only by reporting bugs on our tracker, you can be assured they will be fixed in the full release. Make sure to make minimal example demo workspace to showcase the bug you have found.

Amazing update. you guys did well with this one, definitely making use of the jigsaw functionality.

May we PLEASE get blockstates, I have been waiting TOO LONG FOR AN UPDATE

Can't wait for the new tag manager tab - it will make viewing and updating tags' content so much easier ;D A brilliant quality of life update is coming!!! ;D I'm so glad that You put so much heart into this amazing tool that MCreator is ;D

Btw. I wish we were able to edit custom dimension's terrain shape in an MCreator's GUI instead of doing it by a manualy created data pack. Just leaving here the idea ;D
