Just curious a friend said he'd play this gamemode I suggested as just a hilarity game apparently.
Bubble mode. You start off in survival inside a bubble. You don't take any damage from falling or etc while in the bubble but all you can do inside the bubble is run or sprint and lose hunger. If you step outside of the bubble, you will start to lose oxygen. You have double the amount of oxygen bars though and loses the air at same rate if you were underwater. Outside of the bubble while you lose air, you can do everything like normal, but you still gotta time things to get back inside that bubble before you die. Once inside, it takes a little while to refill your oxygen again. While in the bubble, you can roll on top of water. or maybe it could work as a fun new gamemode for actual vanilla, don't know
anyhelp on how to do any of this would be very well appreciative, I want to try my hand at it. If not possible in mcreator, can i access my forge workspace without mcreator?
I have to be the bearer of bad new today, but I don't think it's possible to make a new gamemode. I haven't seen the option to do so before. Sorry, man.
As EliGrayD said, making new game modes in MCreator is currently impossible (and I think that it won't be added in the near future)
However, if you want, you can make a simple mod that simply adds a variable, an Overlay for displaying the variable and some events that can be used only in a custom map that adds the bubble and uses command block
thanks for the replies, kind of figured as much. I just was thinking he said it would be a fun mod to play with. I figured via possible with commands as a one command creation except wouldn't be a gamemode but that would be fine.
i want this too.
an in-game gamemode creator
you can select the boxes
[ ] Flying
[ ] Spectate Mobs
[ ] No Colision
[ ] Hearts
[ ] Hunger
[ ] Mobs attack you
[ ] Invisble
[ ] Imortal
[ ] Commands Allowed
[ ] Admin
i dont know how to use functions variables etc so im dead
You can use the mcreator "file manager" plugin to save files containing the information. you most likely cant use /gamemode though, i will try it and update you
I think it might be possible, but of course, with many stings attached. You probally would need a tag, and if the player has the tag they get the gamemode. You could maybe use /function so the gamemode can be given via commands. For the rest, idk, but the idea for a gamemode can still stand.
