Im experiencing trouble with a custom model for an item i made.
It keeps turning sideways (like on the photo)
Can someone help?

I'm guessing you made the model in blockbench?
If so, there is a display page that will allow you to determine how the item is held, just change the settings to what you want in all hand positions, then re-export your item model.
If you have already done this, or you did not make it in blockbench, then I have no advice.
