.jar To .zip

When I export my mod I need it to be .zip so I can open it with curse forge. Can I download my mod as a .zip file?

I thought that the website said invalid file not Curseforge, so I thought It was pretty strange that you wanted a zip for Curseforge but I ignored it and told you how to convert the file. Well, maybe I should have mentioned that to make mods work they Need to be .jar files, not .zip. why are you trying to use zip?
