1.21 Neoforge?

It is really great to see MCreator being updated and be able to make mods for the 1.21.1 version of Minecraft. But I was wondering if it is possible that we could also get to make mods for the 1.21 version? I've already made a mod (for myself, probably not going to upload it here or anywhere else idk) for the 1.21.1 version, but there's this one mod I want to play with on 1.21 since the author of that mod won't update to 1.21.1.

Now I'm really clueless and dumbfounded when it comes to programs like MCreator. So if I'm asking for too much, I apologize.
