So, since nobody on this website leaves me alone, I have thought of leaving this website forever and never coming back. If anyone who's harassed me reads this, please stop or I will leave this website forever. I have had enough of a few things:
People saying negative things about me
People hating my mods
People thinking I steal ideas (I actually get inspired from other ideas)
Not winning MOTW
I'll only come back to this website if I win MOTW next week, so please, moderators, the only thing I want last of this website is a MOTW win. Or else, I won't be able to finish my to-do list and not know what it's like to be a MOTW winner.
Honestly, all that this website did is ruin my life with the fact that I never win MOTW.
"Not winning MOTW" as a reason is crazy
DO YOU SERIOUSLY THINK I'M INSANE?! I AM SERIOUS THAT I NEVER WIN MOTW!
Yeah, and neither have I.
I don't know who you're trying to threaten by saying you'll leave the website? Go ahead, I don't think you'll upset anyone by doing so.
NerdyPuzzle, I have two things to say:
I don't need your plugins
Leave me alone
Also, I think this website and its users are better off without me.
ya NerdyPuzzle stop advertising your plugins😂
Ok Redpikmin. I will try to keep this post civil. 1: I can sympathize with the MotW desire and that it is on your to do list. 2: I feel that you are kind of underestimating the effort needed to be put into a MotW mod. Take the End Update mod for example. It is absolutely huge. 3: If you want people to stop harassing you, don't leave the website. Just become less active. I have seen that you are kind of generating a bad rep. Just focus less on the website and more on making a good unique mod. Rooting for you!
I agree with DarkParty. I can understand wanting MOTW. Although I do feel like currently pretty much every MOTW winner in the past several months has been a worthy winner (although not to say that there aren't other mods that deserved to win as well). Honestly, when I first saw your Survival Expansion mod's page a while ago, I thought it might be worthy of winning MOTW at some point in the future, once it has been developed further (adding new content and refining existing content), but it still isn't at that point yet.
I also want to point out that there are actually a lot of people on the website who leave you alone. But by complaining about not winning MOTW on the winners' mod pages, you have upset a lot of people as well (they see it as you harassing them, although I know you see it as the other way around). And you managed to annoy End Plasma Studio for what I will assume was a misunderstanding of the intended use of one of their forums, and some additional conflict after that.
My advice for that would be very similar to DarkParty's. When somebody else wins MOTW or you feel frustrated at something else on the forums, you can tell your family and friends. However, venting about it on the forums can seem like whining or complaining, and that can upset other people. And sometimes those people will then take it a step further and complain about your mods in what they see as retaliation.
Lastly, I want to address OwOWorld's claims about you stealing assets. If you copy assets from another source that is not under specific licenses or in the public domain without written consent of the original creator, it is technically stealing the assets, whether or not you mean it that way. Content that uses assets from other mods or bedrock addons is better for personal use rather than sharing publicly.
...Also I want to point out in regards to your earlier message:
that writing in all caps does make you sound kind of crazy, even though you aren't.
At least your mods get comments(but I'm not bitter). Plus, modding isn't easy, and I feel that "being harrassed" as you put it is a little sad. I've seen the comments some people post and I doubt they even took a second to think about how hard you work. Personally I like your mod Ideas. I once wanted to make wither storm mods as well but ultimately quit due to lack of interest. Don't worry so much about mod of the week. My recommendation is put as much time as possible into one mod. You might never get it, but at the end of the day you did everything you could and that's all that really matters. Personally, I think your survival expansion mod looks absolutely sick, keep working on it and it could definitely earn mod of the week.
You're right. I could add more content. Here's some things I'll add to v2:
Windy Coloblaze (a Coloblaze variant that is a master of wind)
Slimalien (an alien made of slime that disguises itself as a normal mob, but is passive unless attacked)
Coraling (a creature made of coral blocks that is normally friendly and can be tamed with Bundled Coral)
Yeah so my advice would just be, get a bit less active on the forum, because your posts get you across as a sore loser crybaby, even if you are putting good effort into your mods. So take the bad and leave the good. Keep making good mods, but you might want to get a more reclusive on the forums.
Sometimes, the chase is better than the catch.
If you want to win something you shouldn't be whining for it. Expressing you want something repeatedly over and and over like your life depends on it makes you come across as someone desesperate for attention and (material) achievements.
I'll say it : pity blackmailing is a kid's power move that never works. If you want to stop being harassed first thing to do could be to stop acting as a kid, people will take you more seriously, or if they don't ; embrace it.
Putting the guilt on others isn't even a solution when the problem comes from you in the first place.
This leaves you three choices (as opposed to moderators having to chose) :
-Ignore it (the chad stoic option)
-Change behaviour (behave less like a loser)
-Embrace it (assume your public image and take profit from it)
This is a teaser for the Coralings I mentioned earlier.
