I have problem with MCreator 2024.2.
While working on mods, MCreator gets freezing every 20-40 seconds for 4-5 seconds. I hoped, that was associated with autosave option, but after changed to 15 minutes it is still happening.
My workplace folder is quite small, fev MB.
Computer is rather fast: I7, 3070, 32GB. Drivers are up to date..

While freezing, processor using jump to 20-25%. Other applications are in almost idle mode..
That sounds odd.
I haven't experienced anything like this with MCreator myself, but I encountered a similar issue before, and it was linked to one of my computer's hard drives. My advice would be to try to reinstall MCreator on a different hard drive, but if that doesn't solve it, then I am at a loss as to what to do.
Try 2024.3 as this release addresses some performance issues
