A Nether fish.
Yup.
A Nether fish that leaps out of the lava oceans and attacks you.
This boss fight would be inbetween some pillars in lava.
The fish would jump up and attack you, swim around while shooting balls of lava out from some of its scales, and it would go under the lava, jump up and do a shockwave of lava, sort of like the L_Ender's cataclysm's bosses that do these shockwaves.
Plus their bosses have sick soundtrack.
Good idea but feed me like mat pat.(lore)
And also what does it drop?
What fish is it based on and what does it look like. ;)
Ok,
Lore: This prehistoric fish has scoured the Nether's lakes for millennia, until a tamer of all beasts managed to cage it in a blackstone arena. But the fish has damaged the walls and has begun to break free.
Looks: Anglerfish but instead of a light it has a spiky ball on the end of its string, which it hits you with. Red and orange kinda like the magma blocks. Bright orange/yellow angler eyes.
Drops: Magma scales, used for a cool angler armor. Magma tooth, used for tools and a spear. And the angler eye, when made into a necklace (or something) it provides lava vision.
It could be a quest boss.
I probably can’t be able to make it in the full release.but I will make it in the update In 2026. :,’

Add a beastiary
The players can now plainly see that the boss deals 0 damage,and has 1 HP
The arena is 35 block over dripstone spikes.
It is immune to all ranged weapons,potions,AoE damage,and environment damage (Melee is the only option)
All of its attacks deal knockback.
FEATHER FALLING IS DISABLED
