Hello, I have inserted a custom music sound to my resources, and added it in the music category. I have then made this music the biome music for the custom biome I use for a custom dimension. Despite waiting for a while in game the music never played, how rare is it exactly?
There is nothing wrong with the sound, it is in .ogg format and plays perfectly when played using the /playsound command. Although, it doesn't seem to be playing naturally. Could there be something wrong or is the music just very rare? If so, how do I fix it?
I'm not sure how you were testing it or if this is useful at all, but I wanted to let you know that biome music, whether Vanilla or Modded, only plays in Survival mode, not in Creative mode. So if you were waiting for it to play in Creative mode, it wouldn't play, because Minecraft just doesn't play biome music in Creative mode, it uses a separate list that, as far as I know, can't be easily changed with MCreator.
If you were in Survival mode while waiting for your music to play, then I have no idea why it wouldn't be playing.
Oh wow... that explains it... thanks for the help, I'll let you know if it still doesn't work.
Oh my god, thank you Catnip! I was so confused before i saw your msg xDD
I'm glad I was able to help.
