Topic category: Help with Minecraft modding (Java Edition)
Okay, so I need help with a vampire mod that I'm trying to make. I'm fairly new to this so I am pretty confused. If I want something to happen, like the player gets infected, when they are attacked by a vampire, how would I do that?
I know how to do it , but it's too complicated to explain . I can make the base for your mod and leaves it to download in mcreator file

@#4 I would do that but what I am trying to do is make it so when you get attacked by a vampire mob, you get infected, which could be a variable or something, and if the player dies while they are infected then they become a vampire. I'm not really good at modding so even if I could do that I would have no idea to do the rest so I think I'm just not gonna do it.
