How do make a skeleton model?
Wed, 05/29/2019 - 22:50 (edited)

Ive seen in other mods that people have made custom skeletons but for me there is no skeleton model choice only the biped model.

How do I make a custom skeleton model?

If there is not a built-in or downloadable model for you to use, I would suggest creating your own. This can be done through programs such as Block Bench.

I had a bunch of trouble with this as well, i have no idea why it's not a built in thing. I ended up making my own using Techne which i found a really old download of and it was the only thing that worked because of course the mobs only accept .java models. You can use the one I made if you'd like, it should be identical to the one in game if i did everything right. Here's the file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/4x6cdyr4pukkm9k/Skeleton.java?dl=0

https://blockbench.net/ here is a blockbench link and here is a tabula link https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/tabula-minecraft-modeler both programs are very good, i suggest avoid using techne because its buggy and dosnt support children to models.
