I am a kind of person that likes MCreator but thinks it need a LOT of easier ways to make a wood and/or wood crafting recipes.
the most angering thing is that when generating wood, it doesn't make everything! (Example: Door, Trapdoor, Sapling, Boat, Sign) also, many Minecraft recipes need wood, so making them manually is annoying!!!!!!!!!

Those makers are for convenience and basic use cases only.
In case you want to make a proper mod, I recommend making mod elements directly without the template tools
