Armor Layer Texture Bug

Hello. Today, I tried to make my own custom armor on Mcreator. Everything was going good, I had finished the texture, imported it...

After that, I finished the armor itself. I checked nothing was missing, and so I pressed Save Mod Element. Though, I couldn't save it because apparently the Armor Layer Texture was missing, which was false. I double checked, and I can't do anything about it.

Does anyone can help ?

What does it mean to not work? Does the armor glitch, computer crashes, or something else? We can't give constructive help with lack of info.

It means each time I finish the armor element, it just keeps on saying me that the armor layer texture is missing. This is what happens when I clikc "Save Mod Element".

The armor textures must be…
Sun, 04/27/2025 - 14:54

The armor textures must be named EXACTLY "something_layer_1" and "something_layer_2" you can replace "something" with any name, so long as it is written in the format of all_lowercase_letters_separated_by_underscores and it is the exact same name on both textures.

In the file explorer, both textures should be .png files, so it would become "something_layer_1.png" and "something_layer_2.png"
