Hi! In my opinion, if there is a part of MCreator that should be updated is the GUI creation system.
Here are some features that I think would be cool to be added to MCreator's GUI creation system:
- Working animated textures in GUIs - Like, the Block and Item animated textures, but animated in GUIs!
- Customizable GUI keybinds - Like, keybinds, but for GUIs, but you can customize them!
- More item slot customization - Like, adding the item outline or texture into the slot, just like in the player's armor slots!
- More checkbox customization - Like, customizable checkbox texture and customizable checkbox text color/colour!
- More button customization - Like, adding the ability to change the button's text color and to change the button's texture!
- Customizable text input size - Like, being able to change the text input's size would be a cool thing, if you are making a PINcode Screen or other stuff!
If you have even more ideas, comment in this forum!

Yeah, I use it! I use it a lot for the PC Mod!
For the item slot image options, you can just place an image over the slot in the GUI. It works pretty well.
Ik, i have tried it in my PC Mod mod, in the printer gui, on version 1.0.1, and it was cool!
