Hello!
I'm currently working on a new Minecraft mod for Forge 1.20.1 with a new dimension as the big main feature. However, I'm having trouble thinking of ideas for what the dimension should be and what should be in it (biomes, mobs, etc.) Here's a list of what ideas I would like:
- The name and main theme of the dimension
- What the dimension's main block should be
- 3 or more biomes that the dimension is made of, and any special blocks found in them
- Passive, neutral, and hostile mobs that are found in the dimension
- Important items found within the dimension (special materials used to make new tools, items used for an important crafting recipe, etc.)
- New advancements, goals, and challenges that you can get in the dimension
- Structures that generate within the dimension
- A new boss that can be spawned with blocks and materials from the dimension, as well as special abilities that it has and any special rewards for defeating it
- Blocks and materials that should be used to build and light the portal to the dimension
Your ideas are greatly appreciated!
A radioactive dimension that has radioactive coal ore and to survive the radiation a special suit is required.

Your idea does sound pretty cool, but I would probably prefer something else
For the portal, build it out of purpur blocks so only late game players have acess to it. I feel like an original idea would be for the new dimension to be a blend of the three already existing dimenstions. It would also be cool if you made a completly new progression only using vanilla blocks and items if that makes any sence.
quite vague, but it gives a lot of room for thought. there are some cool ideas, I don't know if it's your style, but it could be some kind of dream dimension, where there would be biomes, starting from calm beautiful dream biomes in pastel colors with peaceful mobs, ending with nightmare biomes in black and red, with a lot of aggressive and hardcore mobs (also you could add something like a "dreams at 40" biome, where everything would be very abstract, strange and crazy).
it could also be a Hell biome (not Nether), it would be very complex, scary and interesting, blocks of flesh, blood, lots of new interesting demon-type mobs and a boss Satan
it could also be the dimension of the sculk or the dimension the player could reach through a portal in the underground city, it may not necessarily be related to the sculk
or a dimension covered by villages
