Some way to make your own custom armor trims would be cool. Create the item, trim design, and even make custom ores able to be added into trim. I think this would be a good new addition to the mod elements.
Currently, the only way to do this is to make a separate armor with it's own texture for each trim and each color, which is really, really tedious. I agree that this would be a cool feature to see in the future.
