In 2025.2 the overlay is fine
okay then it's probably a 2024.4 bug sadly
how can i have 1.20.1 with geckolib and the old player animator without the bug
the old player animator specifically? Nerdy just released a version for 2025.2/3 https://mcreator.net/plugin/91396/player-animator-forge-1192
and entity, block, (and item in 2025.3 which will probably be released very soon) animations are built-in now.
