I know there have been plugins for this but they've been discontinued.
An entity procedure to start/stop elytra gliding while wearing a custom chestplate - for example, pressing space in midair allowing for the player to begin gliding (like the vanilla Elytra).
If you actually still need this, Its already in vanilla. I think if you give yourself a chestplate you can put glider true or smth and it will be like a chestplate and elytra combined. Example for diamond chestplate: /give @a diamond_chestplate[glider={}]
