I'm currently in the process of importing the Gradle project.
Those who have created mods can tell me how long it will take. I have Mcreator on my HDD, but all the Gradle dependencies are on my SDD
The time it takes for Gradle to import the project really depends on the power of your computer and the speed of disk reading/writing. It shouldn't take too long, but it does definitely take a while to load all the dependencies (Minecraft has a lot of them!). When creating a project it is the shortest, but if you have to reimport after you've added mod elements it gets longer depending on how many elements you have. Overall, it should take a few minutes maximum.
it should take at least 5 minutes or 10 minutes if on a slow pc
