Copypasted from original post because I put it in the wrong forum section
Making stuff in my idea dumping mod. I made a 32x32 sword texture, however it's the same size as a regular 16x16 sword. Is there any way to increase how large the sword is without using Blockbench (it's too complicated for me I'm not joking)? All the solutions on other posts involve Blockbench, which I don't feel like learning how to use so if anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated :)
You can locate the item model within your mod files. Lock it and change the scale to be 2 instead of 1 in the views that you want it and it will work exactly as you want it to. But if you can't use blockbench idk if you'll be able to do that either.
Add this to the file, switch names with whatever yours says:
