I watched Northwesttree about making custom tier and it seems to not work. I tried to make it more simple, but it also won't work. Am I missing something or did the sunlight beam change my binary codes?
For blocks:
----------------------------------------------------------
Event trigger:
Return logic -> AND -> is (provided Blockstate) tagged in block state as "minecraft:needs_hardmode_tool"
-> not -> (item in main-hand of(Event/target entity)) = (Netherite Pickaxe)
___________________________________________________________________________________
for pickaxe:
------------------------------
Event trigger:
Return logic: is (provided Blockstate) tagged in block state as "minecraft:hardmode_tool"
////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Nevermind, this above kinda sucks.
What you actually need is:
A block you want to have a higher tier
Return logic:
AND
(is provided blockstate tagged in BLOCK tags as "your tag")
(is item in main-hand of Event/target entity tagged in ITEM tags as "your tag")
And thats it. You just told the block, that it has higher tier and can only drop by a pickaxe with that tag. I think, It's also bit flexible, but atleast the major part of my sick ass super cool premium deluxe mod got a major progress.
You are trying to make a custom ore tier set? What are these procedures even running from?
For a custom tier, you make your blocks and tools and items associated with the tier etc etc. Then you make a harvest condition procedure where you return logic is item in main hand = your custom tier tool. Then make one for each tool if you have blocks which require them. Then on any blocks which require your custom tier, you add it respective tool procedure to the additional harvest condition.
Solved it.
Only gave the block a condition and thats it.
it works so far
