Topic category: Help with Minecraft modding (Java Edition)
For context, I am on Mcreator 2024.4 making a mod for 1.20.1
I am trying to make a mod that add in an Easter Bunny entity that pop out random spawn eggs. The problem is that when the spawn eggs are applied to spawners, you can spawn an infinite amount of the mobs, making the Bunny redundant, and making boss farming easy.
My idea is to have the game to disable the spawner interaction with spawn eggs together. So basically I have the spawn eggs listed in an item tag to make it so I can have mod compat, so I have it so if the item in main hand of the event entity is on the list. The action will be cancelled. This is my procedure, and it still isn't working.
Not sure what I am doing wrong. If anyone got any advise, feel free to contribute.
Returning logic doesn't do anything unless the procedure is attached to a trigger that asks for a return value. A standalone procedure using a global trigger doesn't do that, so instead you'll want to use the "Cancel event that triggered global trigger" procedure block from the Advanced tab.
Thanks, I followed your advise and it worked well. Here's my procedure
Now there is a indicator sound and action bar message to notify that this is not allowed.
