I need help with dimension spawning, i have some flat dimensions and one floating island one, is there a way to make it so when i enter a dimension, it teleports me to a specific block or teleport me somewhere where there is land? Cus sometimes i end up just falling into the void cus Minecraft takes the coords from the overworld and puts those coords into the dimension, if anyone could help, thanks!
You can either spawn a small platform like the end does, either once or each time someone enters the dimension by teleporting them to 0 100 0 or so. However this method could spawn the player high in the air or deep underground.
The nether does a similar method with the nether portal.
Otherwise you can use a block checker, check for a block in a 64x64x64 block area for a coordinate with air and block below is solid. Use the procedure template, check for block in 6x6x6 and edit it.
