Kart Idle Sound Issue

Hello! I'm implementing karts into a mod of mine, and i have 2 idle sounds i am trying to get working. A loop for when the cart is moving, and a loop for when it isn’t. My main issue right now is that using the basic sound tab in the entity causes overlap, and somehow so does trying to wrap the sound in a wait function. If anyone has any advise regarding how i would get the sound to play fully before looping as opposed to playing hundreds of times at once, id be very greatful!

Don't use the wait block, use an nbt timer instead, set timer on tick when timer = 0, then when timer =/ 0, set timer to timer-1. Play sound each time timer=0

Either you left the sound in the sound tab of the entity and that is what is playing.

Or the nbt isn’t syncing properly causing the value to remain at 0, if so use a synced data integer valye instead of the nbt.
