Hi folks, I'm working in Mcreator 1.26.1 and I've been adding animations to entities. I have succeeded with some conditional procedures in the Playback Condition for these including the pitch of the head, but can't work out how to have an entity play an animation when it turns, as they do in Minecraft.
I've tried with the entity Yaw procedure but not sure how to make it activate an animation when the entity randomly turns either right or left. Does anyone have a solution for this?
Each tick check the yaw against saved_yaw, then save the new yaw as saved_yaw, when current yaw =/ saved_yaw, the entity has/is turning and you can set a logic variable to true for example, which is the condition for your animation. You could also use an integer timer variable so that the whole animation plays out each time, with that you can check that timer=/0 and only when timer=0 can timer be reset (when yaw changes) to 40 or whatever
But which entities play a separate animation for turning?
Thanks, I'll try that.
They are all custom entities. I just want these to have a turn animation when they actually turn because they are like long snakes and it looks strange when they turn / spin on the middle axis.
