So, I have this small mob (less than 1 block in size). I need it to spawn in caves. I almost managed to do this using a procedure, but with my current setup, it's only spawning near lava.
Here is my procedure: https://imgur.com/a/NWPL3C3
Here is my spawning tab: https://imgur.com/a/Qqy5AUR (weight = 500 for tests)
Set the spawn condition of the mob to below Y63
If you need further info, please let me know!
I just changed the y < 60 to y < 63 in spawn condition procedure, and nothing changed
Sorry i kinda new in the mcreator moding and i have other mobs that spawn in surface, this is the first one I'm having trouble with.
If you can help me figure out what I'm doing wrong, i would be grateful.
Is the entity spawning at all?
Yes it spawning, but just when i set the light level to < 15, so this spawn near lava
Does it spawn when it is set to > 15?
No, theyre stop spawning
Can you make sure they are set to the same mob type in the behaviour tab and in the spawning tab?
Yes, in behavior tab it is Mob with type undefined and in the spawning tab it is monster.
I'm using mcreator 2024.4 i dont know if it change something
Maybe try removing the light level restriction and instead of Y63 make it have to be below Y50
See if that works.
Also try to make the spawn wait either equal or greater than 20.
Yeah, even with this changes they still spawning just near lava
I'm going to crazy with this mob
How can i do the wait thing in a return procedure?
No, that's in the entitys spawning tab.
Theres no wait option https://imgur.com/a/9AY5Zhs
Sorry im very dumb
After a bit of researching I finally figured it out. You need to delete the entire condition first. Second you need make a new procedure and then use this logic: https://imgur.com/a/KkYErQf then add that procedure to the trigger in the entitys tab "On initial entity spawn" than you should be good
