Water Mobs are Still Broken

I've been adding some water mobs to my new dimension. Water mobs in the past have been known to not work properly. Even after testing the 2nd snapshot for this year, the bugs still seem to be present. The mob is set to water type and spawns as a water type, it is added to spawning in the biome in the new dimension. Inside of the new biome, I also added the mob to the mob spawning section as its correct type. All of the boxes such as water entity, and pushed by water, and all of the other oddballs are also checked. The mobs are either passive or aggressive water creatures. Despite this the mob still sits still in water. Out of curiosity I set the AI based to squid and all of a sudden the mob works but I don't want it to behave like a squid. I then removed the AI completely and I presume this is where the bug may exist. I instead created a procedure in the entity tick update, and the procedure seems to work for only about a minute after being spawned, then it simply stops working and there is obviously not an option to force entity ticking, I presume they tick naturally, which is what would allow the procedure to function. I have posted the procedure as an image below.

The mob does move around randomly as intended but as stated, it is only about a minute after being either naturally or manually spawned before the mob simply stops moving. Additionally, regardless of what value I set the entity speed to, it still seems to be the same speed regardless. I hope what I have provided may help in fixing this bug.

I want to note that I tested the AI in the newest snapshot and looked around forums for tips but nothing seems to work. Hope someone can give some insight as to if I am doing something wrong or if this is genuinely a bug that needs to be fixed in a future snapshot or update.

If you use AI template for water mob and set it to water mob and it does not move correctly, this is very likely a bug that needs to be reported on GitHub with example workspace with one mob that shows the behavior
