Hey there! Since MCreator 2026.2 just came out, my mod (RedRedRed) is going to move from 1.21.8 to 26.1.2! Let's hope it moves smoothly without any issues! yoylecake...
UPDATE: So during the movement, it got corrupted, so... yeah. I did fix it, but now it's staying on 1.21.8.

I keep getting an error, so it may stay on 1.21.8- wait, the plugins won't work since I replaced them... okay, so it will stop getting updated until I fix it.
Error: (it's a LOT)
The error logs, I could NOT fit in all that here. So just open me!
the bolded text (like ########) are censored due to... multiple issues. (in the link) I still need help tho. I may release other mods (for Bedrock Edition OR NeoForge) that are for testing purposes ONLY / may be useful.
You should have your solution on this page

Thanks! I just had to reboot my laptop and then re-run it...
that did nothing... I may have to do smth else and this error is a gradle error wating 2min for a file but ill try fixing it
I fixed it! I just had to get the gradle dist myself (6.9.1) and put the zip in the place where it saves it, and it unzipped it and... it works! I'll try making a test mod first...
Expect v0.13 to come out soon! I loaded RedRedRed in 2026.2, and after a few fails... it worked!
Okay so when I did that there was way too many bugs: 1. The fluids did nothing 2. Most textures were... broken. 3. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
So yeah... I guess RedRedRed is NOT moving. (thank god I still have the 2026.1 plugins)
For fluids, please see:
Did you consider opening a bug report?
How do I transfer a newer workspace (from 2026.2, 26.1.x) to an older version (2026.1, 1.21.8)? Ever since I moved my mod (RedRedRed) to 26.1.x I've instantly regretted that and want to go back, and all the backups are... too new. I do have the source files on github (src and elements folder from v1.0.12, from 1.21.8), will that help?
You can't downgrade if you don't have backups.
See https://mcreator.net/wiki/how-recover-workspace-and-backup-strategies
I fixed it, I found a backup in the full backups folder.
Thankfully, the new 2026.2 patch did fix all the liquid, but still. I am NOT porting RedRedRed until the version I use becomes too outdated.
