How to make stair blocks, and slab blocks?

Hi, in this latest version of Mccreator, you cannot make a block have the stair or slab attributes, how do I make a stair or slab block. I rememeber in previous versions, you were able to make it into a stair or slab, why can't you anymore? Thanks.

To make a slab (and I am assuming you are using the MCreator version 1.7.2 for Minecraft 1.7.10) do the following:

1. Add new mod element

2. Create a block

3. After selecting the texture, set the max y coord to 0.5.

4. You might have to check the boxes labeled "Don't render as a normal block" and/or "Has Alpha?"

Sorry if this does not work, I did not test it, but there are some totorials out there if you dig deep enough. Also, I still can't figure out how to make a stair block, but I hope this helps.

If it doesn't work you can use a model creator (Crayfish's Model Creator is a good one) to make a slab or stair model. Then you export as json and use it.

@#2 actually in the new versions of Mcreator, you can't import .json models. Only .java unless you know of a way.
