I'm using Mcreator 1.6.0 and Minecraft 1.8 and cannot work out the custom sound option.
I have made the sound into an. Ogg file as requested. Mob builds okay and works fine, but the sound doesn't work, no matter what I try.
Is there something I am not doing, or doing wrong at all?

don't worry dude! there working on another MCreator 1.7.4 for Minecraft 1.7.10
and they also fixing the Custom sounds on the newest verison coming up to MCreator 1.7.4 For Minecraft 1.7.10
I'm glad they are but does that mean I have to re-download a new forge and also a new Minecraft skincreator as I am using mcskin3d

I downloaded this version of mcreator and keep getting the following error any suggestions?
