Where to add effects?

I am not sure who has deleted/moved my thread without any notification and explicite written permissions so I'll reopen it again as the old link is no longer reachable.

Old threads URL: https://mcreator.pylo.co/forum/38621/where-add-effects (no longer reachable).

And yes, I also used a psuh comment after a few days because this is smth. general which is allowed in all Forums as long as a push is only shooten after 24h differenc, also it
is legal and can't be avoided through forum rules because otherwise threads would be unanswered and that isn't and also can't be the philosophy of this site and/or the administration
(all other intension is redicilous and stupied).

I'll reopen my request as long as it is deleted until I got any response! Also, since I have not violated the Rules, you have to aquirre permission either to close or to delete my
opened threads! And yes, I'll use "push comment" as it is a world wide non forbiddable global Forum Rule as long as it is used only after a 24h (or longer) difference to the last post!
And yes, I am angry about that action. I am also angry if the thread was moved but without any notification.

The Question:

My question was about how can I add effects to my Mod. E. g. if I want a certain region of blocks glow or let particel effects occour to indicate smth. like a ressource ground?
I can't finde any option in the programm so it would be nice to know where it is to find.

Thanks for the help

The only way you can achieve

The only way you can achieve something similar is to create new blocks that have particle effect and let them spawn on the surface (more or less)

@#1 So it isn't possible todo this with already existing blocks? Hmm, ok, have to think over this and how to solve it.

I thought that I can generate a source of engery which comes directly out of the earth. Maybe I can ... ok, have to think over a few not mineable "ores" which are only there to indicate "Here is an energy source".

Ok, if I am right there were at last 4 Elements (Fire, Earth, Water and Air) and 2 Neutrals (Ligth and Darkness).

Well, however this soure of energy is drained is it then possible to swap drained sources? E. g. if an Earth-Source was drained switch it back to dirt, for Fire it should be Netherrack (so only in the Nether) and so far.

If this will work I have a chance to get this working :) - Thanks for your replay.

@#1.1 it depends by what you mean about drained D:

You can make that right clicking (when you have something in your hand maybe) on certain blocks, they will be replaced by what you said.

But you can "create" different ways to achieve that

My way would be a special

My way would be a special device which will extracts this energy from it but it must be placed a few blocks away.

It is like an Distance Extractor and as animation/effect you would see how the energy will flow from the source into this devices and while it is consuming the energy the source should chance to a normal block to indicate that the source will soon be empty.

Will not be that easy I think because I need a model for it too (and for many other things).

@#2 For that kind of stuff, the models are your last problem x) You need to learn coding "unfortunatly"
