Biped mobs skins warped and gltiched?

So, i tried to make a joke mob for players to find in my upcoming mod, and i selected a biped model for my creature. (as the skin was taken from Skindex, and is a player skin) So i continued to make it, no problems with the code, but when i joined the game to test my new mob, i was disappointed to find that its skin was completely malfunctioning. Help anyone?

thanks, -Prox

You may need to use MCSkin3D…

You may need to use MCSkin3D, a tool of MCreator.

  1. import the skin into MCSkin3D
  2. click on the Steve tab on the upper right.
  3. go down to "player" on the drop down tab.
  4. on the new drop down tab coming off player, click on Steve (minimal) - it will crop the skin so you don't get the bizzare warped mob.
  5. Then save the mob on your desktop with a new name.  Overwriting the file causes some problems.
  6. Then you can upload the cropped skin that was saved under a new name in MCreator.

Here's my tutorial on it.  The part you need is at the 2:00 minute mark.
