Loading gets stuck on "deobfMcSRG" When setting up Minecraft Forge

Since the laptop I normally used is broken and I cannot use it, I decided to install MCreator on another, older laptop. According to the reccomended specifications, it has the very minimal specifications required for MCreator to run. However, the first time I tried loading it, the loading process got completely stuck on "decompileMc" for over an hour, so I closed it and tried again. This time, it didn't even get that far because for the last 2 or 3 hours it's been stuck on "deobfMcSRG". Anyone know how I can fix this?
