Try using mcskin3d, and just use the head texture. Got to be careful if you use this for other pieces of armour though, since the places where certain armour goes isn't the same as the areas where legs, chest, boots go on mcskin3d.
Okay, thank you. I could only get the icon to show up, but the hat itself was glitched.
If you're talking about textures, keep in mind that there's a limit to the head model. You can't have textures higher than that
If you're talking about a custom model, there's some tutorials for custom armor models, but they're pretty long and complicated, just search in youtube
Oh yes, and where do I paint the hat? just on the head texture, or the helmet texture?
