Mcreator Armor Texture not detecting Texture

Ok so I am trying to import some armor textures and Mcreator is not detecting them. And they are named properly. What MCreator is not seeing

Its a known bug that will be fixed in 1.8.1
You can bypass this by making texture in mcreator and go to texturs folder and replace it with your custom armor

It's not a bug. You need to call it <something>._layer_1/2.png (the "." is before _layer_1/2.png)

Can confirm with Wes that it is a known bug, with two different workarounds. Either do the method Wes has stated, or roll back to 1.7.9 until the 1.8.1 update is released.

It's ".layer_1" and ".layer_2"  that's why.
