Custom Tree Help Needed!

Hey all, I still haven't found any solutions to my problem ;v; and I've pretty much made it worse. Figured I might as well make a new post about it since it seems that there's more problems than I had when I started.

My custom trees are not working at all, and I would really like a tutorial/explanation on how I can make them. My trees are using custom blocks, and none of the blocks are showing up. I've put structure void where I wanted air yet large chunks are still taken out of the ground. Also, these weird discs are popping up where I think the trees are supposed to be? I'm not too sure. I'll also note that I am of course using .nbt files, and the "custom tree" setting in the biome creation interface. (as well as v1.8.1 of MCreator)

I'm boutta start begging for help lmao, I feel so discouraged from modding since I can't fix this issue (haven't worked on it in months because of this tbh), and I really do want custom trees for the Crystallia mod. If any of you can take some time out of your day to shed some light to this problem I will wholeheartedly appreciate it; I'd even go as far as to make an item/weapon/etc dedicated to you.

It looks like your selection…

It looks like your selection is only creating the ground the tree is on.
I made a video tutorial not too long ago for the 1.8.1 on how to make a structure using NBT files in the forge test environment.
Video Tutorial

Hope that helps it will show you everything from how to select your model to the proper placement of the structure block and the best way of adding structure voids. If you need any further assistance you can comment on the video and I will do my best to help :)
