Got just a little something here; I have no idea if it was my setup that caused this to happen but it seems my structures are, instead of generating on the surface, they aren't. It's hard to explain what's happening, but here.
I had to dig up my structure in this screenie by the way. I was only able to see the very top layer and it was flesh with the ground.
Here's another structure I wanted to spawn, it also was having the same problems.
All structures were saved in the same way, and at ground level, so these structures should have no problems spawning (especially seeing as the trees spawning around it are fine minus a few floating ones here and there).
In the element creation tab, I selected that
- I was a surface/ground spawning structure.
- It only generates on grass
- It is restricted to my custom biome, the Obsidian Forest.
So I don't know what the issue could be other than it's a bug! Oh and also, I'm using the latest available version of Mcreator~
If it isn't and there's an easy fix please let me know!!
In some cases, you might need to export the structure with one block of air to fix this, we might add a height offset parameter in the upcoming updates to compensate for this.
Would love that feature Klemen. My dungeons have this problem, and it actually causes some mobs to suffocate.
I have added in in 1.8.3: https://mcreator.net/changelog
Still need more coffee (in in)
