OS, MCreator version, screen recording, ...?
Windows 7 (32bit) , 1.7.5
MCreator 1.7.5 is not supported anymore, unfortunately so consider updating.
I can only guess that this could be caused by Antivirus, but this is just an idea.
In short, I added to the exceptions of the firewall, everything fell into place.
