I made a new type of wood and I do not know how to connect it with the other Minecraft wood so it can be mixed and matched with the other woods. Does anyone know how to do this?

What is this supposed to mean? can you maybe make a drawing or something to explain what you're trying to achieve here.
Like when you make a bed you can use all of the type of woods and I want to know how do you add that wood planks to work with the other wood planks.
the way i would do it is just have a crafting recipe for every combination, other than that, idk
