They should make the client have the website built in to it. You could also make it so you log in with your minecraft account (similar to Curse and Tehcnic launchers) so you can quick play other peoples mods without forge or a separate mod client.

This part is completely unrelated to the rest of the forum but i figured I would mention it.
Pylo please Please PLEASE fix the procedures for mac (I don't know if this is also a Windows issue) whenever I try to create a procedure i just get a gray screen with nothing on it and the application wont close unless i force quit the entire client.
