Hello! It's been almost 4 years since I last visited this site (as I made my first mod in Dec. of 2015). I decided to see how things have gone, and they've gone pretty well. Though, my questions are:
1) How Is MCreator been, growth wise? Has it been slow, quick, etc.?
2) I noticed the changelog saying things like "MCreator 1.9.1 [1.12.2]". Does this mean MCreator ver. 1.9.1 was released when minecraft 1.12.2 came out? Or that it is ver. 1.12.2 of MCreator, but only compatible with Minecraft 1.9.1? Pls explain :(
3) I noticed a whole changelog/new post regarding "MCreator 2". Is this gonna be a whole new download/new thing? Or is it called "MCreator 2" because of how massively overhauled it is?
4) Continuing above.. should I grab MCreator right now? Or should I wait for MCreator 2 to be out?
Sorry for all the silly questions, though like I said it's been almost 4 years since i've last used this site, so i'm completely lost lmao. Thanks to anyone who can help!

2.. 1. 9.1 is the mcreator update, 1.12.2 is the MC version. There are moree than 10 1.12.2 versions, and we all have 1.9.0.now.(its great)

MCreator 2 is going to be a huge update, but part of it has been already implemented in the released updates. You can grab MCreator now, because you will be able to import the workspaces you make now in MCreator 2 too.
Regarding #3, I'm guessing mods made won't be compatible with 1.14 until MCreator is updated then?

@RaolTheBest Thanks for the welcoming! I've taken an interest in code over the years, and remembered MCreator. So I figured i'd check it out, so maybe i'll pick it up soon!

You will be able to update your workspace to 1.14 later by one simple click so you can start working on your mod now.
MCreator 2 is more of a roadmap than a release, compared to other releases MCreator 2 won't be any larger, it is just the definition of the changes that will lead us towards MCreator 2.
