Custom procedure doesn't work

Okay, so when I was trying to make a custom command I made a procedure that executes a different set of commands such as /give. When I finished I made the custom command and used that procedure. When I went into the game (Right version, folder, etc.) the command did absolutely nothing. It didn't give me any of the items that were supposed to then be in my inventory. Just wondering what I did wrong, and how to fix it.
